With the support of the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) and within the framework of the ongoing project at the Energy Training Center established by the Georgian National Energy and Water Supply Regulatory Commission (GNERC), trainings were held for public school students in Batumi and Poti. Project experts introduced the students to topics related to drinking water and environmental issues, emphasizing the importance of the rational use and protection of water resources.

The goal of the project “Safe Future for Youth -Water and Environmental Health” is to raise awareness among school students in various regions of Georgia about the importance of developing mechanisms to enhance youth engagement in environmental protection. Additionally, participants will gain in-depth knowledge of the rational use and protection of water resources.

The project engages 650 school students from 40 schools in Batumi, Rustavi, Kutaisi, and Poti, along with 50 students from Kutaisi and Batumi State Universities.
