In the first half of 2025, Georgia imported 9,472 tons of chicken fillet from China at a cost of $16.76 million. Overall, the country imported a total of 19,939 tons of chicken fillet during this period, with China accounting for more than 47% of that total.
In the first half of this year, chicken fillets were imported from the following five main countries:
• China - 9,472 tons worth 16.76 million USD;
• Brazil - 2,011 tons worth 3.72 million USD;
• France - 1,904 tons worth 2.48 million USD;
• Netherlands - 1,848 tons worth 2.43 million USD;
• Germany - 1,151 tons worth 1.50 million USD
As per the Sakstat data, this year the chicken fillet imported from China to Georgia was primarily supplied by the following companies: West Invest, Easy, Casco 2015, Foodservice, and Geo Distribution Group.
