The Georgian national currency strengthened to the US dollar on 7 August. The lari was up 0.23 tetri to GEL 2.6970 per U.S. dollar.
According to the National Bank of Georgia, the national currency weakened against the euro by 1.49 tetri to GEL 3.1466 per EUR.
The value of GEL slumped by 1.15 tetri against the pound to 3.6059 GEL.
The exchange rate of the Turkish lira against the lari is 6.63 tetris.
