The head of the Russian state-owned company visited Georgia and held meetings at the Ministry of Economy- the Russian state company “Rosseti” reports.
According to the statement, a delegation from the “Federal Grid Company – Rosseti,” led by the company’s General Director Andrey Ryumin, paid a working visit to Georgia.
“A meeting was held with the management of the country’s largest energy company, Sakrusenergo, in which Rosseti and the Government of Georgia each hold a 50% stake. A meeting also took place at Georgia’s Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development, where opportunities for participation in modernization and electricity infrastructure development projects were discussed,” the statement from Rosseti reads.
For reference, Ryumin is sanctioned by the European Union, the United Kingdom, Canada, and Switzerland.
