According to the Ministry of Environment and Agriculture, from August 1, 2024 to April 23, 2025, 17.2 thousand tons of apples were exported from Georgia. The value of the products amounted to $10.9 million.
Compared to the same period of last year, the quantity of exported apples increased by 15.0 thousand tons (7.6 times), the export value by 9.4 million USD (7.4 times). The average export price of apples in the reporting period was $0.63 per kilogram.
Apples were exported mainly to Russia (17,095 tons), Kazakhstan (60 tons), Belarus (39 tons), Turkey (21 tons) and Armenia (11 tons).
