Georgia saw a significant increase in the number of international travelers from the European Union and the United Kingdom in January-June 2025. The number of visitors hit new record. In the first two quarters of 2025, Georgia was visited by 201,986 international tourists from the European Union and the United Kingdom that is 10.2% more than in the same period of 2024.

The number of international visits has increased significantly from the following countries: Greece (+28.2%; +3006 visits), Italy (+26.1%; +2271 visits), Spain (+25.9%; +1638 visits), Great Britain (+25.8%; +3880 visits), Poland (+21.9%; +6043 visits), Germany (+4.2%; +1296 visits) and others.

In the EU countries and Great Britain, the Georgian National Tourism Administration is actively engaged in marketing campaigns,taking part in international exhibitions and conferences. The National Tourism Administration will continue its activities until the end of the year to further boost an increase in the number of tourists from European countries.
