19 banks operating in Georgia earned about 1.3 billion GEL in profit in 5 months.


According to the NBG statistics, in January-May, 5 out of 19 banks saw a loss, 14 made a profit.


VTB Bank, whose activities are practically limited due to the imposed international sanctions, saw the largest losses.

The ranking of loss-making banks is as follows:


• VTB Bank - loss 43 million


• Silk Bank - loss 8.9 million


• Hash Bank - loss 3.7 million


• Paysera - loss 0.4 million


• Pavebank - loss 0.07 million.
