The demand surpassed expectations, Tamas Chumbashvili, the founder of the newly opened tourist complex "HEDI Winery" in the village of Chabukiani in Lagodekhi region, says. In his words, the vacationers include both Georgians and foreigners.

„Our tourist facility opened its doors about two months ago. The complex includes an outdoor pool, five hotel rooms, one Imereti-style room, and a restaurant. In total, our facility can accommodate 22 guests. As you

know, Lagodekhi is a municipality where mostly people from Imereti and Racha live. Consequently, we aimed to blend the traditions of Imereti, Racha, and Kakheti. It can be said that the demand has surpassed our expectations. We've already welcomed guests from several European countries, including the Czech Republic, Austria, the Netherlands, Germany, Turkey, Poland. Georgians, including local residents, show interest in the complex. «When it comes to advance bookings, 40% of our customers are foreign visitors, 60%- Georgians”- Tamaz Chumbashvili notes.
