"Herczynski is a tragic figure; he is not allowed to function as an ambassador," said Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze to journalists, responding to a statement by "People’s Power" regarding the EU Ambassador to Georgia, Pawel Herczynski.
According to the Prime Minister, the Georgian government remains in a one-sided friendship mode with Herczynski, and this mode will continue.
"Herczynski is a tragic figure; he is not allowed to function as an ambassador. This is my clear assessment. He was forced to interfere in Georgia’s democratic elections when he openly expressed his position to the public. He called on the public to go to the polling stations and vote against the incumbent government.
He is a tragic figure; this person is not given the opportunity to work as an ambassador. We remain in a one-sided friendship mode with Mr. Herczynski, and this mode will continue," the Prime Minister stated.
For context, "People’s Power" responded to an interview given by the EU Ambassador to Georgia, Pawel Herczynski, to the newspaper Batumelebi and issued a statement.
According to the party’s assessment, the EU Ambassador to Georgia, Pawel Herczynski, is a representative of the "deep state," or the global war party, whose main task is to create problems for the sovereign government of a sovereign country and to facilitate the return of "deep state" agents, i.e., the global war party, to power.
In the statement by "People’s Power," Pawel Herczynski is described as "part of the foreign-controlled and funded opposition operating in Georgia, who knows nothing of diplomacy and, through his actions and statements, has exceeded the competence and authority of an ambassador since the day of his appointment."
